A Moroccan Brass Hanukkah Lamp Circa 1900
About the Item
A Moroccan Brass Hanukkah Lamp made in Morocco, Circa 1900.
Moroccan Hanukkah Lamp decorated with columns and an authentic Star of David.
Openwork pierced backplate with numerous quatrefoil cut-outs and framed by two twisting architectural columns flanking an authentic cut-out Star of David.
A thick cast of eight rectangular oil containers with pointed ends is affixed to the lower backplate with a pinched drip pan attached below it.
Side panels swing open and are decorated with similar quatrefoil cut-outs as the backplate.
